What size trailer do I need?
It depends on what you’re hauling. Small loads may only need a 4x8 utility trailer, while larger loads or equipment may require a tandem axle 16–20 ft trailer or longer.

What types of trailers are there?
There are many types, including utility trailers, enclosed cargo trailers, travel trailers (RVs), car haulers, boat trailers, horse trailers, and flatbeds. Each is designed for a specific use.

How do I know if my vehicle can tow a trailer?
Look at your vehicle’s towing specs (found in the owner’s manual or online) and compare them to the trailer’s Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) and Tongue Weight.

Do trailers need to be registered?
Yes, most states require trailer registration and display of a license plate. We do register them. Requirements vary based on weight and use.

What is the maximum weight I can tow with my vehicle?
Check your vehicle's owner's manual or manufacturer website for its towing capacity, which includes both the trailer and cargo weight.
